We are honored and pleased to announce the creation of the electronic version of our newsletter, called iAeroNEWS.

Our ambition is simple: share with you our know-how, our successes and above all our philosophy which makes iAero today a major player in flight safety, of fixed-wing and rotary aircraft.

This launch of the electronic version coincides with an anniversary: at the end of 2021, iAero will celebrate its 20th anniversary, in its new premises in Darois (France, Burgundy). A youth full of enthusiasm and vitality combined with maturity and constantly challenged responsibility.

iAeroNEWS will explain you how iAero supports you in your daily life as a manufacturer, operator, pilot, instructor, owner, maintenance/safety manager etc... We will share with you our expertise and our solutions to make the flight experience safer and advantageous for you.

Ease of access and analysis

Over 100 analog, digital, audio and video parameters are recorded on each flight. Direct data from instruments & sensors, as applicable. No interpretation, No post-processing.

But how do you manage all this data once you get back to the ground?

BEHIND THE SCENES OF IAERO

Stephane, helicopter test pilot

Smiling, relaxed, always available, Stephane lets nothing show of his daily life, where Safety is the key word.

As an experimental helicopter test pilot, he has the onerous task of testing new aircraft or new equipment to validate flight safety and verify compliance with applicable regulations.

His career path is impressive: 30 years in the Air Force, more than 53 different aircraft to his credit, totaling 7,800 flying hours worldwide.

With iAero for 11 years, Stephane has flown for big names in Defence and Industry such as the Atomic Energy Center (CEA), Airtelis-EDF (power lines infrastructure installation and maintenance), Thales (defence). He takes control of heavy and light aircraft, in the initial phase of development or on periodic visits. Each mission is a new challenge.

And when you ask him what binds him to iAero, he spontaneously replies, "The spirit and vocation of aviation safety which drives both flight tests and the APIBOX parameter recorder. With the managers and their teams, we speak the same language, we have the same culture anchored within us”.

You surely know this aircraft maintenance company. ICARIUS Aerotechnics is the European leader in the maintenance of turboprop and piston-type jets.

But it is also the official installer of APIBOX for the French Army's Pilatus PC6. "We have been working with iAero for about fifteen years," says Corinne Fitzgerald, co-manager of ICARIUS and passionate about skydiving. EASA has approved the installation of the latest version of our APIBOX V3 system: on the DHC-6.
This provides operators and owners with the ability to digitally monitor and record, at 8Hz, all engine, flight path and airframe parameters (including flight control positions).
