The company iAero - i2A SAS was founded in 2001 by François Vignon (private pilot and computer scientist) and Gérald Ducoin (Flight test pilot). It is located on Darois airport (250 km east of Paris).
iAero received its Production Organization Agreement (POA FR21GO18) from EASA in 2008 allowing in house production of approved equipment for installation on several types of aircraft.
In 2010, iAero received an Alternative Design Approval Agreement (AP DOA AP337) from EASA allowing the development in house of modifications and/or installations of new equipments on certified aircrafts (STC).
In December 2011, iAero received a PART 145 (FR.145.646) Maintenance Approval from EASA allowing the mending and maintenance of sold equipment in its facilities in Darois. These mendings can be done under the guarantee contract or for an overhaul after a system breakdown.
iAero guarantees the high integrity of its product through a totally integrated Quality Assurance Department controlling the global supply chain and assuring the continuous airworthiness of its equipments and products. All Apibox System components are assembled and tested in our facilities in Darois.
All our equipment are delivered with an EASA Form 1.
